A Predicament and a Question

Hello everyone,

So as some of you know, I have been running the club KingdomHeartsRP-dA because the founders had to quit for reasons beyond their control, and I haven't changed rules and such because really, it isn't my club still. I joined as a member and eventually became a moderator because they asked for help, I had no intention of doing more than a mods work. However when they quit, I was the last mod there and I knew people enjoyed the club the way it is...so I didn't change it at all because I figured it didn't need to be changed. The rules were a bit strict for my liking, but up until about YESTERDAY I didn't even know I now basically own the club...so I didn't now I could change the rules.

People have been getting angry at me for not letting them join, and even posting rude comments and such. So I block them, why, because I have enough shit to deal with without another conflict in my life. One guy did just that, so I answered a bit sarcastically, because I really had no other way to say something without starting something big, I mean, people can have their opinions, but they need to think about what the say, also  being in a bad mood didn't help either. Then, I saw they were a Harry Potter fan and I'm like cool, I like Harry Potter too. So I see that they have a club and I go look at the page,because even though he didn't like my group, we had something in common and I was curious. Later, I look to see who visited my page and he did, and I was a bit confused so I looked at his page...he wrote a nice happy journal about how I was "stupid" and how I "Blocked myself from making a rude comment on his club" (prongsandpadfoot.deviantart.co…) I was shocked, I would NEVER do that to anyone, I know how hard clubs are to make and run, why would I insult someone's club? BTW: Do not go to his page and tell him he sucks and how he is mean, people are entitled to their opinions...even if it is a bit insulting and different. Can't be friends with everyone.

I am just tired of it all. I try to do one nice thing for someone and I always get some sort of negative result. I did not make the rules, I did not want to deny all those people joining, I was just doing my job as a moderator. I have a question to ask, and I need help to figure out what to do. I need to know what to do about it. It is a role playing club where you make a account for the character you decide to rp as. It can be a cannon, Final Fantasy, or ANY OC Kingdom Hearts related (IE from any world as long as you can explain). People have tried to join the club without reading the rules and without wanting to rp. The only thing I can think of is to make a group of members that are just 'watchers' or 'fans' or something like that. Or I could close the club, but something has to be done.

Don't you just hate when something is thrust upon you even though you never wanted it in the first place, and it ends up causing a mess...
